Whether in a shopping center, an arena, or at a trade show – there are many situations where a standard display is simply too small and inflexible. An LED wall with its modular design is a whole different story. You determine the format and size of your LED wall by the number and arrangement of the modules. This allows for creative shapes and true giants. To ensure your content is displayed correctly, the modules are controlled by an LED controller. The NovaStar MCTRL660 has established itself as the standard among LED controllers and is ideal for a wide range of applications.

So what makes the MCTRL660 a classic? It’s simple: this device offers user-friendly operation, allowing for a quick setup of your LED wall. The computer connects via HDMI or DVI, and the signal is sent to the LED wall through four RJ45 ports. These Ethernet ports are freely configurable, allowing you to choose which serves as the main and which as a backup. If you want to connect an additional control monitor, you can also use HDMI and DVI. Detailed settings are made using the free “NOVA LCT Mars” software, which offers many options for perfect image output. For small adjustments such as brightness or resolution, you can also use the front display for convenience. In terms of brightness, you can adjust not only the entire wall but also individual modules for a uniform appearance.

The resolution of your content can be 1920 × 1200 pixels (WUXGA), 2048 × 1152 pixels (QWXGA), or 2560 × 960 pixels. For optimal transmission quality, we recommend the Full HD format of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The controller can flexibly adapt the output resolution to the LED wall with a maximum of 2560 × 960 pixels. For even more performance, the controller can easily be cascaded with additional controllers via UART cable.
