With the CVT4K-S from NovaStar, you can connect and control your LED wall via fiber optic over distances of up to 10 kilometers using a compatible controller. Data transmission via fiber optic comes with several advantages, making it the number one product in this category. Firstly, it impresses with speed – instead of electrons, photons are used in this technology, transmitting your data at the speed of light. Moreover, your signal is transmitted over long cable distances without any loss. The material and type of transmission ensure data transfer without compromises in quality and quantity, unaffected by external interference. Other methods, for example, may be disrupted by electromagnetic interference or temperature fluctuations.

Commissioning is very simple – the signal is received through 4 fiber optic inputs from the controller and distributed to 16 Ethernet outputs leading to the end devices. Of the four optical ports, two are main lines and two serve as backup lines. The 16 RJ45 ports are freely configurable as either main or backup connections. For power supply, you have two connection options for more flexibility and especially more security: one is a cold appliance plug with 10 amps, the other is a blue PowerCon. For control, you can connect the distributor via an additional RJ45 port or USB 2.0 (Type B). On the front, a handy display quickly shows the status of each connection.
