The NovaStar MX30 is an all-in-one controller for LED displays that integrates both video processing and LED system control. Thanks to its numerous input and output options, the MX30 enables a wide range of setup configurations. It offers several input signals: HDMI 2.0 with loop, HDMI 1.4 with loop, DP 1.1, and two 3G-SDI inputs with loop function. On the output side, it features ten Gigabit Ethernet ports, two 10G optical interfaces, and an optical S/PDIF port. Additional interfaces include two network ports, an AUX port, and a Genlock input with loop. Operation is convenient via a rotary knob, a back button, and a 3.5-inch TFT display – or alternatively via the user-friendly VMP software. The controller supports cascaded control via Ethernet and also supports SNMP and Art-Net protocols. Advanced features include three independent layers, image scaling, 14-channel color correction, low-latency support, and LED system monitoring. The MX30 is suitable for installation in a 19-inch rack.
